The war for the continent of Valentia seems to be over with the death of the Emperor of Rigel. But before anyone can celebrate the truth comes out. The leader of the Deliverance, a young boy from Ram Village in Zofia, named Alm is the Emperor's son and it is his destiny to destroy Duma the god of Rigel, who has gone mad from the effects of degeneration.
While processing this news, Alm and the Deliverance learn that Alm's childhood friend Celica has been captured by the Duma Faithful and is about to be sacrificed to Duma. Unwilling to let the woman he loves lose her soul to a mad god Alm decides to save her and put an end to the gods once and for all.
