Waking up on a Monday morning by cold water hitting you in the face, followed by slipping down the stairs because your stupid brother forgot to pick up his underwear when he came home painstakingly drunk and then burning your chocolate waffles may hint that you're going to have a shit day. His breath lingered in the cold winters night, his arm laid limply over my shoulder blades, his tanned finger tips drawing small circles on my exposed skin.

"I love," Reuben paused as his gaze switched from the stars to my dark eyes, "I love gazing at the stars. They hold so much power, so much beauty, but are so tiny."

"Oh wow, look at you, Reuben Gray the astronomer", I winked playfully, as I traced hands gently over his thigh.

"I don't want this to end," He said lowly, skipping my sarcastic comment; his British accent a melody to my ears. "You are something special, Blair."
