Gadget just wants to live like everyone else who stays in the city. Him and his brother have been through thick and thin with his friends by their sides. When Eggman takes over the entire world, there's only one way to get it back, and that is to resist. The only problem is that the band of rebels are too weak to fight. That is, until a long shot of an escape plan is successful, and they band with another Resistance force.

(So, a few things to mention. 1: This takes place during Sonic Forces. If you never heard of it, don't read this. 2: I don't have much preference to Sonic Forces, so bear with me. I'm throwing a few other things outside of the story in as well. 3: Told in Gadget's viewpoint. 4: There will be language, [that means swearing] unlike the game, uncensored. 5: This will have some LGBT+ content in it. The world was split apart 50 years ago. In panic, some people decided to create a city on one of these peices of the planet. To control their people and keep them from finding out a way to restore the world as it was. To avoid anyone finding out they placed walls around the city and promised to protect anyone who goes in. Everything there is perfect. Freedom, food, clothing, everything you need is provided by the government of this city. But once you make it out things are way different. A war is happening and the citizens are unaware, too cozy with their "perfect" lives to notice how the government they love so dearly has been experimenting and creating "weapons" right under their noses. The Werebeast, the governments weapon to winning the war, has escaped from their control with their proud inventor. ___ Or- Sonic and Tails are on the run from the government outside the city. Someone is sent after the famous Werebeast. The most famous name outside the city has enemy's coming his way every second.

Will they stop him without being captured by the villains of this world? Or will the villain rise to the top, rendering the heros useless? Some incident has occurred...the world will never remain the same again. The badniks, the eggforces, the enemies that Sonic and his friends, practically everyone was fighting against from the very beginning, had suddenly took no orders from Eggman, probably because none of his machines even remembers him. With no one to command the machines, the machines all wander around and are forced to adapt to the environment and into the societies that feared and despised them. As this happens, some form of disease breaks out as these strange light cyan pollen like things starts to infest the whole Mobius, making any of the living organisms LITERALLY melt. The ones who are not affected by it are of course, the ones who can regenerate and the /machines/. A society where they are forced to work with the eggforces, or what they used to be to survive through an already melting world...like as if that's possible, right? Disclaimer: Since I am a new writer and new to the Sonic fandom still, I may write some of the characters inaccurately. I will try my best to put as much research into the characters as possible to aim for character accuracy. Due to that reason, do expect some slow updates as I want to give more care of this story as I do with the rest of mine.
