Blue Hearts 2k16 (My Collection of Poems And Short Stories)
This is a collection of some poems and short stories that I've written. This was actually an assignment in class, but I thought I wanted to share it with everybody. (I'm really sorry, I'm not very good with writing poems and I can only write in repetition.) In this collection, I will be writing about the things that I see around me, or the things that I feel at the moment, so I will tend ramble a bit. Swoosh - a book of breezy poetry
Some of the least poetic poems you'll ever read, written by, you guessed it, me! These are some thoughts and feelings that I tried to put into words. I started writing poetry regularly back in January, so the poems in this book kind of tell the story of my life in 2018, since that's when I wrote them (except for the first seven poems, which I wrote in the summer of 2017, plus a few others that I indicate are old). Some of them are kinda random though. Warning: contains whining about my ex, anxiety, being nostalgic, and being very emotional. Full of poems that I've written, am writing, will write. Maybe mostly about life and others are deep stuff and more... Some are happy and some are sad/dark. Some poem(s) I wrote about or related to a book/movie.etc. Others I wrote as a story in poem form. *checked my old poems recently and GORE, HORROR, BLOOD ALERT for some of the poems near the beginning!! SO maybe best to read my poems from bottom to the top if you mind the stuff^^^ *I think the more recent poems are quite different from the older ones. *Poetry and quotes I come up with when I'm supposed to be asleep* Most are quite short so the last chapter will be all of them combined because I'm aware of how many ads there are now They will get better and most will be triggering I will update occasionally but I'm marking as complete Please vote or comment on your favourite poems (alway comment any spelling or punctuation mistakes) Please don't ask me if I'm ok, I'm fine and poetry is how I cope with many things. Hurt Beyond Repair.
Hurt and frightened and no where to turn except for my journal. Curse words being streamed at me and you would have thought I had a father for a sailor. ~E.M.C Many poems focusing on the subject of Mental Illness, that many suffer with and the subject just isn't brought up enough. Poems focusing on a day in the shoes of a person with a mental illness and how some even ordinary simple tasks may seem not so simple to them. The Words I couldn't Say
This is a place for me to put all the things I wish I said but I just couldn't. These are a way for me to "say" these things without actually saying them to the person I want to. I probably won't ever go back or read any of these because it's like revisiting a bad memory so don't expect much in terms of editing. Also I wouldn't consider this poetry but it is laid out that way. WARNING Talk of depression, suicide, anxiety, and self harm. Don't read if you don't like things like that and may get triggered.
