For Ashlyn Becker, there is no such thing as normal. After surviving a near miss with a serial killer at the age of seventeen, she has lived with the nightmare for seven years. 

	Seven years where she went on to try to lead a regular life. Becoming a top professor in the field of English. Striving to leave the past behind. 

            Until.

       Returning home, seven years after her attack. It wasn't part of her plan, but who can turn down a job offer from such an accredited university even if it happens to be back in her hometown. 

       When similar murders start happening again, she ends up back where she was seven years ago. The handsome detective popping up everywhere to ask her questions hasn't been much help either. 

       Matters only get worse when she starts getting cryptic notes, and threats on her life. 


       Has the killer come back? Is he here to finish what he started with Ashlyn?
