When Spinel left with the Diamonds she thought she would get all the love and attention she'd ever desire, hell, that's how they potrayed themselves...Obsessed with Pink and her playmate, would spend all time with her, would do anything to protect her.
However, that quickly chnaged into a disaster. The Diamonds wouldn't let Pink go...they dressed Spinel up in Pink's clothes, became way more strict than they portrayed themselves, and overall got bored with her. Feeling heartbroken and trapped, Spinel decided to go back to Earth, where she lived with Steven and the CGs.

Steven realizes how precious Spinel is, and instantly falls in love. Unfortunately, he becomes obsessed with her, doing anything to make her his. His property, his love, his Spinel. That causes him to go on a rampage, and he is no longer the loving Steven we all knew and love. His eyes turned into Diamond eyes, putting him out of his usual place. 

He'll kill to make Spinel his....
