Alexander Hamilton is selectively mute, depressed, and just altogether damaged. His soulmate, John Laurens, knows it too, from the overwhelming waves of sadness he feels occasionally to the aching pains in his forearms. John wishes that he could help him, but he knows nothing about his soulmate. However, the odds are in Alexander and John's favor when Alex enrolls in Kings College, where John is a student. John might find Alex, but will it be in time? Can he save him from James Reynolds?
WARNINGS: There is rape, angst, depression, cursing, and lots of other stuff that is inappropriate for young reader. I can't stop you though.
Basically how the soulmate thing works like:
When you kiss your soulmate, a band in your skin forms on your left ring finger. You can change the band to look however you want.
If your soulmate is feeling a strong emotion, your soulmate feels it too.
If you get hurt, your soulmate feels a muffled version of that pain.
Yes I used a Heathers quote as the title FIGHT ME (Don't actually I'm weak, there's a reason I act instead of playing sports) (Not that acting/dancing/singing isn't hard but ya).
I really had no idea what I was doing when I started writing this so sorry if it's weird or things don't make sense.

Oh my god, this was written in fifth grade (with attempts to edit and fix it in 9th before promptly giving up) and I thought it was peak writing at the time. Reuploading it for the sake of not having to re-explain the plot to my friends while I redo the story. Enjoy 🫶🏾 - - - - - - I wrote this book in order to cope with things going on in my life. There are offensive slurs directed towards LGBTQ+ community, but I want you all to know that I have nothing against them. I support them and this book was also written to bring attention to things people don't like to see or talk about or acknowledge. Alexander Crow has a name on his wrist like everyone else. That name is the name of your soulmate. The only problem with him is that his soulmate is another guy, Ryan Creak, and it keeps changing. Although it's pretty normal to have gay people around, Alexander is an exception. No one chooses to do anything when seeing him be attacked by people due to his sexuality. Everyone sees him the same way. A gay, lifeless, freak. It's highly uncommon to have the condition he has and since no one is used to it, they choose to fight it. Fight him.
