The fall of Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan in 1945 created a new world divided into East and West. A new war was about to be fought that wasn't going to be won with soldiers and bombs, but with words, will and ideology.
However, this new world created an inevitable cascade of events that would only serve to destroy the old order of the European empires and replace it with a new world order. This new order would eventually come into direct opposition against South Africa, a nation of ideal platitudes and contradictions. The new Prime Minister, Hendrik Verwoerd, will lead this charge to massively expand the Apartheid System and to maintain the status quo, but things will be shaken up.
With Verwoerd's crusade to serve the Afrikaaners, he has created tentative friends, but also a multitude of enemies. Inevitably, he will have to tackle whether serving South Africa means serving merely the white Afrikaaners or all people within his borders. This choice will shape the future of the continent, and the destinies of millions.
This book will contain material that isn't for young children (13+). It may also contain old lingo and violence, so be forewarned.
