In this story, you will read about the troubling times that Elias has finding someone that is willing to stay with him during his highs, lows, and in-betweens. As if growing up with chronic illnesses wasn't enough, Elias lives with not-so-supportive family members. He regresses to feel relief, but can relief come when he's all alone?

Fighting shadows
Elias Ramirez was taken from his family at only a few months old by his mother. His life was one of chaos, neglect, abuse, and confusion. He never understood why his parents didn't care about him like all other parents do. Why he would see parents hugging their kids, and taking them on trips. His own parents never did that, they never talked to him unless they wanted something from him, they never kissed him on the cheek or kissed his scraped knees. After the murder of his stepfather at the age of 11 he ran away. Scared of people he changed his identity completely. Hoping to never be found.
