This book is all about how years of irresponsible breeding for looks negatively affected our beloved dog breeds. When looks are more important than the dog's health it's no longer humane. Health issues like being unable to breathe or regulate heat are just a few health issues that are common in these overbred designer dogs!

People breed dogs for specific reasons, it may be for hunting, herding, military, service work or even company! But these all have purposes. They are not bred for their looks but when they are, is the outcome really worth it?
