Peter Benjamin-Edward Stark went missing on a Tuesday. For months the entirety of the New York police department, as well as anyone else the Starks could convince to join, searched for the tot. He was only three when he was taken and for four months, two weeks, and four days, Tony Stark and Pepper Stark (nee Potts) worried and fretted over their beloved child. 

Peter Benjamin-Edward Stark was murdered on a Friday. A ransom call gone wrong spelt the end of the child's life. The world grieved as the kidnappers gleefully told the devastated parents they'd find his body in the morning. 

They never did. 

Twelve years passed and the family was still grieving, and Tony Stark worked tirelessly to find his only child's killer and gain justice for his son. 

Meanwhile Peter Parker was having the worst day ever. He just wanted to help people but instead he gets stabbed. That's just his luck.All Rights Reserved

Pain. That was all he knew now. Peter Parker had gotten over the fact that he would never be normal. The whole accords situation, vulture. It was all too much and had started to get to him. Peter got to stay in Avengers tower, and would go on the OCCASIONAL mission with the team, (luckily everyone had made up. Steve and Tony still had problems, but had almost managed to work them out) but mostly he just stayed there for the company, and it just made things better. He liked Mr. Stark. He was like a father to him and,( though he would never admit it) loved him like one. One day when Peter goes to his aunt's apartment, he is taken by someone. He doesn't know who. Peter was then taken to an Orphanage where he was neglected by the care takers only a few kids try to help him make it through his time in the Orphanage. But sadly over the time of three months Peter slowly stopped talking, the schools therapist that was in charged of helping Peter to talk again. Tony and Pepper are wanting to adopt a kid thinking that having a kid will help keep the other's from having another 'Civil war' issue. So that is what they did, going to the closest Orphanage in Queens. When they first lay their eyes on Peter they knew that he was special and that he was the one. Everything was going great but all good things must come to an end. Will Peter make it out of his depressed state or will he be forever lost in his depression. This had to be his fault. Hydra must have somehow found out Peter helped him in Germany and picked him out as the weakest link. They wanted to find a way to get to the Avengers, to get to Tony, and they found it. ***** In the aftermath of Civil War, the Accords have been sorted out, but the Avengers are far from mended. Their issues must be pushed aside, however, when Peter Parker, who has until then kept his real identity a secret, arrives at Stark Tower to tell Tony that May is missing. It will take the whole team to figure out what Hydra has planned, but they are nowhere near prepared for what they will find. PS: I promise the writing does get better! I was expecting this to be a shorter fic, but as you can tell it kind of ran away from me and I take it more seriously than I did in the beginning! Thanks for reading!
