Weapons that are made of dragons are way more powerful than normal ones. That's why the black market has increased its popularity among the rebellious, criminals, soldiers and other vague people. But one day everything went wrong. Dragons were gone. The forest that before was full of different types of dragons was now just a big tree labyrinth. Not a scale in sight. However, there was one exception. The Midnight Pearl. But why is that? Where did other dragons go? Where did the Midnight Pearl go and where did it come from? What is it? When the law comes into force, it gives the soldiers permission to kill those sickening lizards, and eat them instead. They won three lotteries, which gave them enough money (with extra) to buy a new house or to rebuild the old one. This all happened in five months, people who knew what happened to them would consider them very lucky. Though they thought that Tord died during the incident, they would think of him from time to time and they would be sad. Especially Tom, whenever he thought about the communist he would try his best to get him off his mind. Though, no matter what he did, he never succeeded. He felt horrible for killing him. Well, soon to be wife/husband once they have their wedding day. But, when something terrible happens Edd, while pregnant with their son, what does Tord do? Well, obviously, he has to go and find the captors and rip their throats out. But, at age 10, Ellody wants to go along. At first, Tord objects. Ha. Ellody won't take no for an answer. Nobody takes her mother and baby brother away on her watch.

Tom meets a boy named Tord and they become friends. Soon after Tord has to leave the island but not before his father, Paul, kills Tom's mother. A few weeks Tom meets another boy whose name is Edd. Both Tom and Edd flee to another island and meet yet another boy, Matt. A few more weeks go by and they're taken to a foreign monster hunting facility. There Tom meets Tord once more. The four go to an orphanage. Tord is taken back home by Paul and Patryck, Both Edd and Matt are adopted, and Tom goes back to his old home. 15 years later they all meet up again.. but you'll have to read to find out what happens!
