There Was A Feeling
While so many things could've changed, I wanted to decide I'll always be the same. But why is it so difficult? ------- This book is the poetry book with poetries highlighting topics anxiety, depression, self-doubt, heartbreak and many more such feelings. Feelings that we feel everyday. Some people feel them and can just ignore them, while for others they stay there for a long time. They stay to make a mark inside the heart. DISCLAIMER: Some of the works within here will contain photos. All photos or drawings were created by me or were given access to me, and they are all either photos of the events off which the writing itself is based, or they were created to represent the event that was discussed. Most of my writing is deeply personal to me and some of them have roots in real situations in my life, while others are fictitious and SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN LITERALLY. My previous writing scrapbook was filled to the brim with my thoughts put down to words, so now it's time to finish off the year with a new edition of my writing scrapbook. This year my emotions have gone awry, so I've been unable to put away my pen and paper. This is a series of short stories, poems and thoughts I've written over the years, compiled into this collection. Most of these were written years ago. Some I've written as early as this year (2025). The purpose of this volume is to feel. Feel everything as though you are the main character experiencing each emotion expressed through my writing. Here you will find short examples of poetry, from me, a broken man. I'm not as broken as others, but as a writer, one of the most creative and vulnerable things you can be is broken. A Collection of Short Stories and Poems
The title basically says it all. This will be a collection of really short stories and poems I have made recently in a creative writing class as warm-ups, so just sit back and enjoy a few chapters of random things based off of random prompts. This might be a crazy ride for the both of us. Caution: there will probably be many triggering chapters in this, so if you can't handle the mentioning/allusion to suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety, cutting, blood, or self-depreciation of any kind, I would not recommend reading any of this. You have been warned, so if you end up complaining about the things in this collection, you will be ignored and removed from the comments. These are my stories, so deal with it. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the pictures shown above the chapters unless otherwise stated, but I do own the stories within this book, and I will not stand for anyone pirating my works. Random Thoughts Random Poems
I am cringing but I wrote these to distract myself from my exams, pardon me for this. "Randomly made perfectly flawed" I hope you all will enjoy these poems as much as I had enjoyed jotting the small phrases on a rough paper and making it in something rhythmic.❤ Some said my poems made them cry and some said it made them laugh? Some made them smile some made them sad. Some said it's my randomness and some said it's lovely!? *COVER ART IS MY OWN ORIGINAL WORK* In this portfolio of short stories, I have 22 works, 63 pages, and 19,204 words. My stories are organized by emotional theme, beginning with one story about emotion in general, and then moving through stories expressing distractedness, frustration, argument, love, fear, grief, sadness, humor, innocence, and self-love. About a year ago, I discovered my love for the short story and decided to build a collection of shorter works. I'm so glad I did; the variety of plots, characters, and settings I got to explore taught me so much, and I am beyond pleased with what I have to share. I hope you enjoy reading these snapshots of the human experience as much as I did creating them.Concluída
