Nikki Shine's life was as normal as it could be for an 17 year old girl, A somewhat large friend-group, good grades, a happy family, and a great sister as her right hand man. When the outbreak started, everything started to break and shatter around Nikki. Everything she had was gone and her family was dead or turned.   

Mimi Shine was almost the same as her sister Nikki. 17 years old, good grades, a happy family, and the most perfect sister anyone could ask for, but Mimi was a loner in her school and when the outbreak started she had no one to cover her back when she saved others. She now wanders the barren wasteland that she once called her home in a desperate attempt to find and save her sister from a fate worse than death.
