In a world plagued by darkness and death, as a punishment of the gods for daring to steal a god's fire, humans were living in despair for generations, until a young god took pity on them and take the task to find the missing fire, so the punishment will be lifted and humanity could prosper.

However, as Wei Ying traveled the lands as a wanderer, gained friends, fall in love with a mortal man and try to save humanity, he found out that there was a godly plot behind the stolen fire that will make both heaven and earth tremble in chaos.
