Danganronpa: Epigone
Thousands of years after the Tragedy, humanity had rebuilt itself. There were still Japanese tales and legends of the alleged killing games; some believed them, some did not. Ultimate students who attended high schools and colleges were about the only thing that stayed constant throughout time. Needless to say, life moved on without a second thought because the people who experienced the despair were long gone now. But when Masaru Yamaguchi, a new college student, wakes up in a closed off school knowing only his name and talent, everything changes. It seems someone has taken the role of bringing the killing games back to life and now Masaru has to figure out who and why. The Heir Of Despair
What if this time around, it wasn't just Junko who was the mastermind of the killing game? What if she had somebody by her side, a friend you could even say? And what if that person was Byakuya? Because this time around, Byakuya was even worse- he was more cruel and manipulative. So, when Junko told him about the idea of something akin to the killing game, he loved it. He even made some slight changes to it, changes which would make the game much more entertaining. For him, at least. For his classmates... anything but. But how would this change things? Who will die this time? Who will survive instead? And will Byakuya ever change? Or will he stay this cruel?

What would it be like...if this story...had an entirely different hero. A rewrite of the game Super Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, where Mahiru Koizumi is the main hero instead of Hajime Hinata, and the death order and people who die in the killing game are different than in the original game.
