In a far, far away future a thousand years after a global catastrophe which wipe almost all humans... A new civilization was form in the ruins of the old one. The technology of their predecessors looks like magic to them, but that won't stop the human urge to understand it all. Then, one day a young man was inherited a mask, and entrusted the task of repair it. A mask that hides a secret that will affect the future of them all. At what lengths would he go to fulfill a promise? What enemies will he face? Which allies will he make? And more importantly of all. What is the cost to pay? I would really appreciate if you give a little of time to comment your opinion of every chapter, and it would help me a lot if any typo, continuity error, or some writing advice you can make. This is my first story and I very exited to see how it goes! The words come out as a whisper, I've been dying to say that. I thank god every day that he came into my life when he did. "Fuck Vivian, you don't know how much I needed you." I tear up just a little as he speaks, I don't know the last time I cried happy tears. I bring my hands up to cup his cheeks, resting my forehead against his. "No matter how much I push, I don't mean it. Please don't give up on me." My words seem to relieve him in some way as I feel his shoulders relax. "Even when I'm gone, I'll be by your side, forever."
