Everything that Eddie avoids in life. But Richie's personality has Eddie like a magnet. Bev met Richie in eighth grade after he was beat up by Bowers and his goons. "Well, we're walking together whether you like it or not" the other said, with an air of finality, deciding that it was a good choice for the both of them.
