The sun hid behind the clouds the day the Vanley girl disappeared from the world. With nothing more than her tracks and camera left, her disappearance was a complete mystery to those in the community. The Vanley Family Farm was right outside of Monongahela National Forest and Miss Evania Vanley knew the area like the back of her hand, so it was immediatley suspecious. Nothing but the forest could lull her away from the place she called home for too long.

On one cold May morning, Evania went out to hike the forest, like she often did, when she came upon a rare white stag with a bookmark on its antlers. As if the stag was asking for help, Evania removed the bookmark and became entranced by the mighty beast. The world was a sudden blur and when she came to her senses, it was no longer the cold spring morning from just moments before. It was like an entirely new world and time, and when a beautiful man with wings approached her, she knew that something magical-and strange-had just happened to her.
