it's 1986. eddie kaspbrak is a loser. he has a normal life with normal friends and family until one day when his parents send him to True Directions, a camp meant to recover sexual orientation. even tho eddie denies that he's gay he's forced to go there and to get recovered. that's where he meets richie tozier. the two of them go trough a lot together until they realise what they feel for each other.
the plot is based on the 1999's movie "but i'm a cheerleader"
