Growing up, Ciara had it good. She grew up to a nice family of her mom and brother, Calvin aka Chico as their Puerto Rican nationality led him to being called. She's done the whole happy family, cliché high school, college away from home routine. And like any other happy girl who's returning from college, there's always a surprise to look forward to. But little did she know, this welcome home experience would be more than she hoped for. When Ciara gets home, she lands this amazing job at the law firm as a lawyer, not only to do her job so fiercely, but she also meets the love of her life. Damian happens to be the DA where Ciara works, but what happens when you're forced to choose between family and love. Damian tells Ciara he knows her brother is a notorious drug dealer and he will stop at nothing to seize the man breaking the law he pledged his life against. What will Ciara do? What can she do? Does she know the boundary between family and love? Or does she have to learn the hard way? Everyone is given a choice, so what will Ciara choose.
