Gerard Way never planned for his career to go into the direction it did, before his job started he only wanted to do art, alas, after an extreme amount of preaching, he was shoved into a job teaching the thing he loved most, though not particularly wanting to continue, there was always a certain something which was just too persuasive to deny, that thing being a small, aggressive little punk by the name of Frank Iero.
