Depressed, lonely, Penny has really bad self confidence and basically hates herself and her mother and her boyfriend but is forced to live with her neglective mother and her abusive boyfriend. Because of her father moving to America to work with his amazing girlfriend and her beautiful, stuck up daughter that is prettier than Penny and skinnier. ;(
School, is a shithole, for her, school for us is mean teachers, stupid teachers, people falling, bullying, disgusting couples in the halls getting a little too cosy and people laughing, then there's the emos. Which is Penny, she also joins in the math nerds and badass's group. Definitely, not the cheerleaders, jocks, popular, science geeks.
She kind of sort of has, one friend, but this friend is even worse than her, his name is Darren. Dead Darren,is what everyone knows him for, everyone bullies him, the only friend he has is Penny, but their not even close.
Darren has no parents, he's homeless, Penny lets him stay at her house when her mother and boyfriend are at the lake house, or at the movies.
They both have tried suicide many times but failed, they met in an anti-suicidal group that her mother forced her to go to, his mother had forced him to go when she was alive, about a month later her and his father died.
People bully suicidal people, because they want to feel good about them self, but when they make a suicidal person die, they are suddenly putting status's up on Facebook saying "RIP". HYPOCRITE!
They hurt you, no matter how much they do, stay strong.
If your looking for a sign not to hurt yourself, this is it, your strong beautiful, and someone out there cares about you, that someone is writing this, Fuck the people who don't, they don't deserve to even know you. HATERS GONNA HATE, FUCK DA HATERZ!!!!!
This book is about a girl named, Suicidal Penny.
For Darren's story I am starting his story soon.
The only thing Mia Hope has in common with Jake Carpenter, Artwood High's most popular quarterback, is a love for the coffee served at The Coffee Pod. He wants her to tutor him - and if she can do it without a single cup of coffee, he'll pay her triple. Easy. Nothing could go wrong, right?
*****
When Jake learns he's failing English, he knows he needs to pull his grades up or he'll risk being kicked off the football team. He strikes a deal with the elusive Mia - the quiet girl with secrets. If she can't go without a single cup of coffee, she has to tutor him for free. If she can, he'll pay her triple, and with Christmas around the corner, there's nothing Mia needs more than money. But as the pair grow closer, Jake learns the real reason for Mia's bad habit, and what starts as an innocent bet between enemies grows into something more serious. Can the pair survive the next two months with their hearts - and secrets - still intact?
