This whole story is fiction. 
The plot is based on Japanese myths about the kitsune-tsuki or kitsune-mochi. The appearance of a mythical demon was rumoured in an old village long ago. The village was said to be destroyed because of this creature. After the years went by a young teenage girl finds herself engrossed in the past.
