id·i·o·syn·crat·ic /idēəsiNGˈkradik/ adjective relating to idiosyncrasy; peculiar or individual Idiosyncratic was the only word suitable for the town. It was a very strange town indeed, but strange just wasn't big enough. Odd could work, but the town seemed more refined than a word like odd. The clothing, the people, nothing fit into the outside world. No one even seemed to realize there was a world outside of their town. At least the Amish realized that they were the ones who didn't live like the outside world. At least the Amish realized there was an outside world. The only word to describe the town: Idiosyncratic Could the local troublemaker brothers be enough to keep Parker there?

M's Orbit

18 November, 2024 The 10K Nanowrimo i wish I woulda submitted when I was 14. Told in 4 parts, this is an unedited, first draft literary story bordering on poetic style prose. There are elements of psychological, general, teen, and horror. This isn't a cautionary tale, it's just a tale. Some that one can relate to. It's hard to trust people, especially the ones who make you feel really good really fast. But you must have discernment in this life or there'll be consequences. M is your Northern California bred protagonist who has a plethora of friends sandwiched in her daily routine. She's just like you, she works, she drinks after work, she goes home. But then there's a guy....there's always a guy isn't there? This is how she and her small universe copes.
