After snapping at the horrible, immature teenage boy - Clarke Devereaux who's always been mean to her, Samantha finally reaches her boiling point and leaves the group of friends she's honoured and cherished for the past six years, not being able to deal with Clarke (Mouth) anymore. With the group out of her life, she knows that she'll be okay on her own and doesn't put much thought into either of her friends.

Samantha realises pretty quickly that she made a massive mistake and wishes on everything to take it back. With the damage already done and Samantha still being her stubborn, awkward self and not having the guts to go to Mikey's house, she tries to get used to the fact that they're gone. And even if she missed them (excluding Mouth) she couldn't turn back time or build up the courage to give them all a squeeze and ask to be invited back into the group.

Will Samantha grow her independence or find herself falling back into the group when her friends happen to stumble across a map leading to a Pirate's treasure? Or will she get more than she bargained for when feelings for the person she couldn't stand, who made her rip her hair out, was the most likely cause of her anger issues, begins to surface?
