Galar. A region of beauty, of grace, of love, of secrets; and the home of the Gym Challenge. Trainers far and wide that were endorsed gather here to take on the intense battles. As well as experience the mysterious and powerful phenomenon that is Dynamaxing.
Follow along with Jac, a trainer endorsed by Champion Leon himself, and her childhood friend Hop as they go through the challenge. Watch as they face many challenges along the way, find and battle new rivals, and experience growth of both the physical and emotional sense. Both want to be champion, but only one can attempt to defeat the Unbeatable Leon.

This story is for the purely to indulge myself in writing a self-insert fanfic. This is purely for fun. This is also based on my playthrough of the game, and the main team will be based off of my Nuzlocke team. My Nuzlocke is currently going on, and it is in Pokemon Shield. I have already played and completed the story and post-game content in Sword.

That changed when her teacher, Jacq, invited her on a school trip to Kitakami-a land of rich traditions, mysterious Pokémon, and unexpected encounters. There, she met Kieran, a quiet yet determined boy drawn to her strength, and his protective sister, Carmine. What started as a simple trip soon turned into something more-a journey of rivalry, growing bonds, and emotions she never expected. This journey would then lead her to an exchange program at Blueberry Academy, where even greater adventures awaited. She found herself facing new rivals, growing stronger with each challenge, and watching her newly found friend become clouded by determination and rage. As their rivalry deepened, so did their feelings, with each challenge uncovering a vulnerability in Kieran and a growing connection between them that neither could ignore. • • • This story is based on the events linked to those that have happened in both Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, though it being more closely linked with Violet (As that was the game I favoured). There will be some alterations to better suit the story, but will follow the main storyline of the "Teal Mask" and "Indigo Disc" DLC's. I've published this as I've been wanting to create my own story between my character and Kieran for a while, so I thought I may as well publish it for others to enjoy as well. This story also has a very slow plot, their relationship progresses VERY slowly throughout, so if you aren't into slow burns I don't recommend this story. You can skip through it if you like. • • • The video game and its characters are owned by Nintendo and Game Freak, with only the non-canon content being my own.
