I've always had a fascination with the stars, whether it be constellations, the moon, or just the bright burning things themselves. I can remember sitting on my front steps at night watching them, calmed by how simple and quiet the world seemed in that moment. I wish it could always be like that

Scientist have researched for years why human eyes just form red beating hearts through their eyes but some people just say it's their "Soul Mates". Cringe... Escaping the Monster's Embrace (OLD BEING REWRITTEN )
(Currently being rewritten under a new name The Claimed) Everything changed when they came out of hiding, terror spread across the world as people began to question if our presidents and our global leaders lied to us and weren't from the same race. The Beasts blended in amongst us as if we were the same, except humans didn't have the same predatory instincts and we couldn't change our forms like they could. Soon after we learnt that we weren't the only species people began going missing. Some were unlucky and taken as something that the Beasts called a Mate that one word made fear spread throughout my veins, I would rather sell my soul than have one of them mutts chain me to them. Six months went by before the government, that was un-tainted by this vile race began to take action into their own hands contacting other countries and militaries causing the great war to happen, sending both my parents off to fight for our rights. Only one of them came back, two months was the longest we lasted before we were overpowered by them. Six years of living in this dysfunctional environment and my hatred had never dwindled. Some people still believed in god and had faith in him, I didn't know what I believed in but I prayed like everyone else that I would get through another day without hearing the soul crushing word 'Mate'. As a pretty sane person I knew that ugly incomprehensible things happened but somethings came at you so unexpectingly that you did not even know how to react. Fairytales often painted step parents as these evil beings that did such unimaginable acts which ended up affecting our everyday lives but it wasn't like that with my mother's boyfriend. At least that's what I thought until I found myself somewhere else with a father I knew nothing about, a band that wasn't really a band in my eyes and a past so heavy that going to sleep meant drowning in the horrors of a summer that was meant to be the best time of my life.Concluída

The 'Signs in the Sky' are what keeps the world of Equatilia at peace. For many years, these signs had prevented for things going wrong in their world and if even a single one is lost, the world will turn to chaos. Every generation, the oldest descendant with the same gender of the former Signs work hard to prepare to replace their predecessor. This is a story about the 'Zodiacs', as what their classmates call them. They are a group of people that are 'friends'. Or, as some normal people think, has some kind of connection, both negative or positive. However, the Zodiacs must put aside their differences, when a tragedy occurs during a supposedly fun night. Now, all twelve of them must work together to bring down their one or two enemies. However, what they don't know is, one of them is killing the group from within them. The problem is, who?
