How amazing my life was now that he was in it, and then years later I met a few more people, and then more, and we were the Loser's club. 27 years later, we were so different. I was a comedian, and we were all successful. That call. Never could I have known how much that call from Mike Hanlon would change my life. It's so hard for me to be the same "trashmouth" Tozier. Not without Eddie.. He's not dead, he's just hurt...right? I just want it to be how it used to be. When we were kids, when all we had to fucking worry about was how many arcade tokens we had left, how fat our loogies were, and what time we had to go to bed. Just Eddie and I. I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. Midnight walks through my neighborhood will never be the same. Field parties with bonfires and loud music will never be the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of. Bill liked the way Beverly looked since fifth grade. He thought she was really pretty. Short curly hair, green eyes, perfectly pink lips. He thought he was in love with this girl. So his current friends make some few new friends. Stan is in love with Bill. And he can admit that...to Eddie. Eddie knows, and he's always been super supportive. Derry doesn't like Queer people. Stan isn't out, but he'd still do anything for his close friends...well...crush. Ben is on the football team. He's shy, but he's been friends with Bev since freshman year.
