Modern Day Plague

This is a reddie fanfic, I have no clue how long yet, that is full of Eddie and Richie's internalized homophobia. This will focus on subjects such as Eddie's abuse at home with his mother, flashbacks and nightmares of the Leper, and a lot of topics such as thoughts of suicide, thoughts of self harm, and a shit ton of homophobia.
I myself am not homophobic, and I will try to do my best to add trigger warnings or keep it less severe, though I do want to warn that this isn't for the faint of heart. It will get dark.
Also, Eddie isn't really sick physically, just mentally from the abuse from his mother. He also believes he is sick because he loves Richie.
