17 year old high school student, Amelia is constantly being bullied. And worse? Her mum doesn't seem to care. And her dad goes off on months on end "on business," only to come back to abuse Amelia; worse... her mum doesn't try to stop him. She's slammed in to lockers, pushed over and punched every day, a good day being when she gets called a slag by only 5 people... Not all of her bruises are because of the students in her school.
She's used to being in the spotlight of attention for all the bad reasons, but one day she walks in to school and there is no attention on her; only on the mouth-wateringly hot new guy, Ethan. The only guy in school who's nice to her.
Ethan leads Amelia on only to drop her and suddenly take a disliking to her.
