What Judith didn't say that afternoon, was that yesterday, at the quarry, after gathering the Natron, her master needed, (by the way is a mineral composed by sodium carbonate, and sodium chloride used in the preservation process back at work), was that her friend Ephraim and her, had runned that afternoon, after the stone cutting workday had ended, to the river, to eat some figs, grapes and pears he had collected the day before, near to the garden the day before. The stonemason master Khufu, was watching the scene, and had catched both younglings from the corner of his eye meanwhile he still checked the stone finishes and quantities from high above the mineral walls, getting sure the stone shipment would depart tomorrow, at first day light, or else the pharaos architect would be on his nerves next day, with his grumpy face and bad yellings, as one happened months earlier. Ahhh!, those younglings are sure something, hope I was young again!, he sighed, before he kept giving orders to the sledge dockers. Make sure those blocks are well adjusted and tighted up for tomorrow boys.
They both arrived, and "Ephra", as his friends used to called him, had rented a small canoe, that his friends father Beni, had as a spair, at the river fishing docks about a mile upshore. Ephra had to lend Ben, his wood carving tools set for a week, but this sure was going to be worth it.
Hop on in, " yafe", Ephra said, as he grabbed Judith's hand from the inside of the boat. Oh, thank you "mekho-ar", you're so kind, you know. They both smiled, looked at each other, and bursted into laughter...
