In this story, focused on three pups- a golden retriever, Ashley (Ash), a pomeranian, Rocco, and a yorkie, Rosalie, the dogs struggle through an adventure if happiness, hilarity, and tragedy. The story also has a main human character, eleven year old Lilia, and her cousin who lives with her, Andi. The cousins find the three puppies living in a box on the sidewalk of Lilia's street.
