Yamada takes a shaky breath and turns to look at his son, Hitoshi. "Your father... has done something terrible."

"There are several accusations of embezzlement, hiding debt, nonpayment to the heroes and even having affiliations with villains. What I'm saying, Hitoshi, is that your father was caught working with villains and stole all the money."

--

Or the one where Hitoshi Yamada's life was going swimmingly. He was on his journey in becoming a pro hero and fulfilling his dream, until his father, Present Mic, shows up at UA with surreal news that could possibly ruin it all. He was going to need help with turning this all around but that meant he could only turn to the one person he knew he could trust now that he was back in his hometown, Hosu. His former best friend, Denki Kaminari.

The ghost of his past

21 parts Complete

Hitoshi Shinso was a regular, sleepy depressed orphan. He had no parents but he wasn't sad about it. He had finally got into the hero course, earlier than expected, all thanks to his mentor. Now he's got to get used to the 'normal 1a', being them forcing him to hangout, watching movies, playing games like Uno or Monopoly or even a Ouija board!... ahh yes the Ouija board... That's how Shinso's high school life took a turn for the worse, or better even. Finding out you can see your mentor's dead best friend is trying to reach for the living again, or even to be seen by the rest of the living, and knowing that there is a way can be surprising for most. Shinso is a responsible man, enough to know he should tell someone, but this could be the special 'thank you' he owes. But would he slowly distance himself from the people who truly care? Would his mentor realise the the affection he has for the boy? And would this 'thank you' be too much? ⚠️ Erasermic family Ghosts Swearing
