My father used to sign to me that "the long road is a journey for which you'll reach your destination." I never understood why he'd signed it until now. When my long road began, my journey reaches my destination at the World Wrestling Federation.
I was fifteen when I made the decision to go into the European Independent Circuit. Leaving my home in England was hard the hardest thing I ever had to do. I didn't know what to do, I had nothing to my name. I spent nearly thirteen years on the circuit hoping that I could become a star.
After I made my big break, I got an offer to join the WWF. I finally made it to the destination I'd been trying to reach. It wasn't easy as it seemed. But with my two best friends at my side, I could conquer the world.
Although, when I walked through those doors for the first time, my whole journey came crashing down. All I saw was a man with long, jet-black, curly hair, wearing pink and black ring attire, sunglasses, and a leather jacket. My mind went blank after that.
