It was my first time kissing someone so I don't know how it goes but I tried to go with the same pace as Mr Hulk. His lips tasted like chocolate with a hint of mint. God! My favourite chocolate flavour! I wanted more of his taste. Suddenly I could feel his hand on my butt squeezing it. It surprised me but kind of hot. He pressed me against a wall but not too hard. Lance whispered, his breath close enough for Keith to touch. "B-Being by my side," Keith moved closer to Lance, closing the small distance between them, "I-I thought y-you'd all hate me." "Why would you think that?" "Ha," Keith let out a bitter laugh, "I'm half Galra. I share half of my DNA with a race who has killed countless civilizations, not to mention they kidnapped Shiro and Katie's family, and they-" "Exactly, "they". You didn't help them do any of that, right?" Lance touched Keith's forehead with his own, drinking in the feel of his soft skin. "N-No but-" "No "buts", you didn't choose to be born part Galra, and you have more than proved you're a paladin." "Allura and Coran hate me," Keith mumbled, trying to find some way to prove that they did indeed hate him. "No they don't, just give them some time to adjust," Keith turned around, pulling Lance's arm around him, "They have to get used to you. None of us hate you, not the smallest bit." Lance waited for Keith to argue but the boy had already fallen asleep. Lance hugged the boy tighter as he copied his steady breaths. "I could never hate you." ------------------------------------------------- Keith gets kidnapped during a simple mission of the paladins. He's tortured and abused for three days, leaving him a damaged mess. The paladins finally find him and bring him home, but Keith is acting strange, stranger than usual. I obviously don't own Voltron. After the war ended and peace was brought to all the universe. It had been years since the end of a war filled past and now it was time for everyone to finally move on all except for one paladin who still clung to his past. Lance had been spreading the legacy Allura left behind when she passed and never had a day passed where he didn't miss her, but a dream reveals he needs to move on and live his life. Unsure of what to do he remembers when a certain moody mullet head confessed his love the same night he confessed his love for Allura. Determined to see whether those sparks still glimmered for him he decides to speak with Keith about a past left untouched. When the anniversary of Allura's passing came around he decided that was the best time to reconnect but who would've thought that the stars refused to align when Keith was found injured and unconscious with a beautiful stranger by his side. (I know this fandom is long gone but I rewatched Voltron several weeks ago before they removed it off Netflix. I forgot how much I loved it and how we were deprived of Keith and Lance ever being together so I decided to create this story. Her entire body shook as she cried so that I had to physically lift her off of the bed and into my arms. Her hand clutched at my shirt as she sobbed and I held her tight. I rocked her and stroked her hair. "I'm sorry," she told me after we were sitting like that for a while. "You have nothing to apologize for anything, Princess. I'm the one who should be sorry about making you feel like that. It will never happen again," I told her. "If you give me another chance to do right by you."

Lance, Pidge, and Hunk are employed by the Garrison, Shiro leads missions off world, Allura and Coran are establishing a new world for the Alteans who'd survived, and the Blade don't need him. Keith works in a coffee shop and gets by the best he can, on the little money he earns. This story is loosely based on the paladins of Voltron. I have not watched all the seasons and have changed the backstory of some characters. I do not own any of the characters in this story, and I do not own any of the artwork.
