"I fear I still do not have a name to match the beauty before me." He began.

"Must that always be the only thing you wish to know?" She sighed heavily, looking over to her right where the king and queen sat on their thrones, watching the couple with hopeful stares.

Two fingers under her chin brought her attention back to him and despite the mask blocking her view of his brow, she could see the spark of fire in his eyes, "I have plenty of time to know you, my love." He smirked, "as I said, I tend to take the things I want."

"You can not steal a woman." Katerina spoke confidently, "Her heart may be locked away."

Prince Alexander lowered his lips to the shell of her ear, each syllable tickling her skin, "Tell me where to find it then."

After the death of the queen, the king, overcome by sadness, begins to lust after his own daughter who is an exact replica of her mother. He plans to marry her but she manages to stall the wedding long enough to be able to escape.

After escaping from her home and her grotesquely deranged father with three dresses and a cloak made of every pelt in the royal forest, she is lost. Taking refuge in a hollow tree she doesn't realize she has wandered into another King's territory...

When the story begins a disturbing theme of potential sexual assault is mentioned, but this is not the main or entire plot of the story.
The main female lead is 20 years old and the main male lead is 22-25. It is not clearly outlined in the novel I don't think. This is based on a fairy tale.
