Cursed for three decades, Syrene Alpenstride has lived her life in an unearthly, inhuman form, in a tower where dark seems alive and stirring.

Jegvr, the Voiceless Pits are the dungeons where the world's deadliest criminals are confined, those whose crimes don't fit death an end. A Saqa for immortals like Syrene.

Ever since her curse was lifted, Syrene has been in the dungeons of Jegvr. Given up on the dream to ever see light again, it takes her by surprise when she is Chosen by Queen of Cleystein, and offered a chance at freedom.

One price though.

She must reveal her secret to immortality. How did a human bear the gold core in eyes?

She must accept the bargain proposed by the Enchanted Queen, or she shall never grip her sword again-the sword she had promised to protect with her soul all those years ago.

On planet Ianov, you're either the monster or the meat.
Syrene has yet to choose what she wants to be.

Dragonfire: Celestia by Iluna-_05
47 parts Complete Mature
In the world of Dragonfire, anything is possible. Flying, teleportation, invisibility, the ability to create a lightning storm on a whim...anything can be done. And anything can exist. Goblins, Orcs, Dragons, Dwarves, Kitsunes...there are countless races, and countless abilities. A world of fantasy in which anything is achievable. Or so it seems. After all, everything has a cost. And victory...victory is the most costing of all. Across the Black Sea, guarded by the Leviathan, there exists a large land separated into five territories. Celestia, Arvan, Ingres, Illicen, and Arumi. These five territories are named after those who control them. At least, that is how it used to be. From a distant land, the Snake Kingdom managed to bypass the Leviathan, and invade these five territories! Under the guidance of General Clauve, they crushed everyone in sight, until their only remaining opponent was Celestia. But they made a mistake, and Celestia capitalized. In a crushing defeat, the Snake Kingdom was bested after nearly 8 years of conflict. After the war ended, Albedo Aria, a soldier from Celestia, was promoted to the rank of General. But she didn't feel like a hero. Suffering from severe PTSD, this story follows her as she tries to overcome the nightmares of war, and move on from the terrible things she was forced to do. She was raised to be a soldier, and joined the war from the age of eleven. As a soldier of Celestia, she could never, and still cannot ever disobey any orders. When war calls, she must answer. Whether she is truly willing to or not. But after four years without conflict, surely things couldn't reach that state again? Or perhaps that isn't the case. After all, her dear cousin must deliver a letter to her. A letter telling her that the Snake Kingdom is on the rise in their very own land. A letter telling her that every sliver of happiness she has gained after the war ended will be lost. A letter telling her that she must return to war...

Silver Blades: Plate Male

20 parts Complete

"We're going to need more heroes." Dragoskala has erupted in chaos as an evil plot comes to fruition. The fate of both the city and the central plains of Terrok rests in the hands of a terminally ill swordsman with a temper problem, a snarky layabout gentleman elf, and the cranky female mercenary they let be sold into slavery. If the curse of lycanthropy doesn't kill them, chances are she will. In Silver Blades novellas, we follow the adventures of Riposte Clasicant, who has neglected duty and honor in recent decades. This time his faults have come back to haunt everyone, and he hopes his superior skill with a blade and the help of Pertuli, his sarcastic but well-meaning sidekick, will be enough to save the city he loves. Silver Blades: Plate Male takes place immediately after the events in Silver Blades: Dread Handed. Praise for Silver Blades: Plated Male: ----- I love your books because you create emotional depth in your characters and build complex worlds with many moving parts. - @avadel ----- OMG!
