Whitescale had no idea why she was treated so differently in her tribe. Could it be the colour of her scales? Well, not exactly. Maybe it's the fact that she doesn't have any of the mysterious powers the rest of the NightWings have? But there are others like her.
When Whitescale has a fateful encounter with an odd hybrid, she is whisked away on an adventure in pursuit of a dangerous organization, which could help her answer the biggest question about her life.

As they get closer and closer to the end of their mission, Whitescale begins to feel unsafe, finally realizing that this adventure could lead to her getting captured by the evil dragons..... or worse.

--------------------------------------------------------------

"Whitescale sweetie, you know I'm doing this because I love you."

"I know father."

"You do?"

"Of course! I also know that Mother loves me as well, she just expresses it differently."

"I'm glad."

"I'm not."

"Why?"

"Because you two might be the only ones. Even I don't love myself."

"And why is that?"

"I'm not sure. But no matter what I tell myself, I can't help but feel like a stranger in my own scales."
