A uphill slope

This story is about a teenager who spent his entire life dealing with a problem that has caused him so much pain he accepts death but gets interfered and ends up loving life more than the average person and even finds love and matures a lot from this adventure that started because of a uphill slope.

Authors note: This is my first story I've written and I meant it to be around 10 parts but I wasn't up for it. Doctor Sowell, Rachel and Josh were meant to have a bigger part and in the story but I didn't have the time to write it and couldn't find a spot in the story to fit more back-story to them, maybe in the future I will remake it when I'm more experienced with writing, but for now, hope you enjoyed the story and please leave your opinion in the comments.
