Ryse Ashfield, is a half-elf living in the trade city known as Westmyrk. The primary trade hub between the chivalrous and pious kingdom of Grail and the mysterious and enigmatic elven kingdom Albyon. It is the day of the Midsummer Festival, and the day begins like any other. Ryse opens up the shop with his mother Alyssa while his father, Richard, goes on patrol with his men as part of the city guard. What he does not know that fate has a plan for him, and it will set him on a path he never would have dreamed of.
