Jane stood limply as the dust cleared. Small electric fragments sparked from her. Blue glowing cinders gathered as a beast from the dark formed over her. Her eyes illuminated brightly like the moon.

A creature made from hell itself, bursted through its icy white walls. A scythe in hand, it walked away from the blood-rich life it was trained to desire. It had a human like appearance, walking on two legs, but having a pair of obsidian black horns. Slow breaths in and out increased its aura of death itself. Licking the blood of Phantom from its skin and grew a stone cold expression. It lacked emotion, it lacked family, it lacked the concept of being weak.

"Now that I am free little sheep, let's play." It chuckle made a pit form in Jane. "Just like you did to me. I will make sure no one remembers you."

Jane had beehn trained by what many would know as Phantom. Noorious for their violent ways and endless pockets, they began trying to create weapons for ensuring their control over the world. Children of Phantom would be trained all their lives to endure and kill for them. After countless failures, they finally had their gateway, a small girl.

I entered the cave and saw a red crystal sealed in ice. "Woah." I whispered. The crystal glowed and the ice shattered. I jumped back and fell to the ground, watching as the ice broke completely. My eyes widened and I looked at my hands. "Did I do that?" I asked, but before I could answer, I heard a guard shout for backup as they had heard the ice shattering. I quickly jumped up and stashed the crystal in my pocket before leaving. I crept to the cave the following day, putting the crystal back into the remains of the ice pillar. As I walked away, the crystal fell, causing it to break into a million pieces. I jumped at the sudden noise and stumbled backwards, my eyes widening as a black smog formed around the crystal. "No, no, no, no! Frick." I desperately tried to grab the remains of the crystal, causing one to cut my hand. "Ow! Shit." I whispered, looking at my bleeding hand. "Tch, tch, tch, poor child." A demonic voice said. I looked up and saw that the black smog had two red eyes and a wide, sick smile that was dripping with venom. "I- who are you?" I asked, backing up. "The one who can help you out of here." It said, stretching out a hand. I looked it up and down and before I could answer, its hand plunged into my heart, causing me to scream out in pain. For Stone Rienhart it all started with some bad luck and a demon. His life was a quiet one, lived in a modest home on the coast of Florida until one rainy night when his curiosity gets him entangled with forces out of his control. He gets dragged into the afterlife and meets friends there, powerful friends that will accompany him on his journey to become a demon hunter. However, as he strengthens himself to get revenge on the beasts that tore him from his peaceful world he begins to doubt the authenticity of what he thought was a normal life. As he travels deeper down the rabbit hole that is his new life he now has to answer a question he thought he knew. Who is Stone Rienhart? *EXCERPT FROM BOOK* James grinned, "Ah, but you see we're not here for money, we're just here to give you some advice. We came to make sure you stay healthy!" "I'm sorry but I don't understand." Lincoln looked more than a little hesitant to hear this so called 'advice'. "I just wanted to let you know that there are some people in Eden that are very, very dissatisfied with your work. I would recommend leaving the city alone, or you might end up getting hurt, and we wouldn't want that, now would we?! I mean, look what happened to your slaves over there!" James laughed as he watched Lincoln realize what he was saying. Then, without warning he grabbed a metal pen and slammed it into the desk, leaving it embedded halfway in. "So if I were you I would let the people who are in here go free and leave Eden alone. Do we understand each other?" Lincoln gulped and squeaked out a, "Yes." James once again brightened up and patted the side of his face, "Yes what?" "Yes...sir." "Good boy."

They were born from the stars, but the world refuses to let them stay. It has been three years since the Genesis Flares, the solar phenomenon that gave birth to Astrans: beings with abilities beyond human comprehension. Some see them as miracles, others as abominations but to those in power, they are a threat that must be controlled, exploited, or eradicated. Fear spreads like wildfire, and war is inevitable. Among the displaced and the hunted, a survivor fights to carve out a future for her people, refusing to let them be erased from history. By her side stands the one who saved her, a sister in all but blood, a friend who has vowed to protect her, even if it means keeping dangerous secrets. As alliances fracture and loyalties are tested, they must navigate a world that has already decided what they are: enemies. In the heart of the conflict, two minds once dedicated to progress now wrestle with the weight of their own creations. One, a scientist bound by failing health, seeks to undo the greatest mistake of his life before time runs out. The other, an engineer thrust unwillingly into war, struggles between duty, regret, and the burden of being the only one left to fight. Lines blur between vengeance and justice, survival and sacrifice. The choices they make will determine not only the outcome of the war but the future of the Astrans themselves. Before the war, before the fear, they were all the same. They were all stardust once.
