Everybody is born with a Soulmark. They could show the first letter of your soulmate's name, where they first touch you, what they first say to you, etc. Sometimes people are born without them. That means whatever they write on their skin appears on their soulmate's skin, and vise versa. The rare lucky soul gets more than one Soulmark.

Josh is now a freshman in high school. His Soulmark is a large hand print around his ankle. Everything in his personal life changes for him when one day an upperclassman plays a joke on him. Their Soulmarks match. So why don't the boys have any feelings for each other? They probably just haven't caught them yet, right?

Soulmates

9 parts Ongoing Mature

They say a soulmate is the person you're destined to love-the one who sets your heart on fire, who makes every love song make sense. For Noah, a transfer student in his last year of high school, that person is Sari-loud, sharp-witted, impossible-to-ignore Sari. From the moment he meets her, something in his world shifts. It has to be fate. But love is never that simple. Because if soulmates are meant to be lovers, then why does their "romance" feel... off? Why do they spend more time bickering than swooning? And why, no matter how many times they swear they're done with each other, do they always end up right back where they started-side by side? Maybe a soulmate isn't always the person you fall for. Maybe it's the person who truly sees you, truly gets you-the one you can't imagine your life without. So... what if your soulmate isn't your love story? What if they're something even more?
