The Marauders (James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter) start their fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

The four share a secret, unknown to other students. One of them is a werewolf and the others are unregistered animagi.

Transformed into a dog, stag, and rat, they accompany Remus during the full moons at Hogwarts.
