After spending six weeks in the psych ward for a suicide attempt, Rose Danson is ready to heal and start over. While she wants to start over and live the life she wants, she finds that she is unable to let go of the people and things that are holding her back. However, she starts to notice a change inside of her when she meets Breanna Davis.
Breanna Davis is just trying her hardest to stay afloat. While she can admit that she has not had a very easy life, she refuses to let it hold her back. Living with her alcoholic mother and 15-year-old sister, Breanna has no choice but to survive. Not only does she work six days a week to keep the bills paid, she has to stay strong for her younger sister and ensure that she gets to live the life that she had to miss out on.
