Ariel White's life depends on a tiny mohagony box kept locked away in her room, its beautiful wood tainted with the blood of her victims. She has heard the tales: "Lose your box, and you will disappear god knows where. And no one will be there to save you."
Killing was just another phase she had to go through in life to be accepted by her poeple. Seraphils were all she knew, and they have taught her to believe that being feared was always better than being loved.
