Caydence Emma Levonsha has had a crush on her best friend, Noah Lenkins, for 2 years. She's absolutely certain their friendship turning into something more is an impossible fantasy. However, she's basically been in love with him since he saved her from bullies a year ago.  Now, she's just treasuring her friendship with him and doesn't plan on risking it anytime soon.

Noah Lenkins isn't like your typical boy. It might sound cliche, but it's true. His childhood was a rocky one, having to deal with two fighting parents who quarreled all the time. He too has had feelings for Caydence literally the second he set eyes on her. He always admired the way she could engage in conversations so easily and be so confident.
