Cassiopeia Black grew up with more on her plate than the usual teen girl. She didn't get to wear pink dresses or cry over boys who had broken her heart. No. She was stuck worrying about her brothers and what the future holds.

James Potter never really paid attention to girls who weren't Lily Evans, especially not his best friends sister. But all that changes when he notices the girl has more bruises than the usual teen, and he wants to know why. 



Cassiopeia was falling apart.
