Kitty is a Poke-Shifter. Poke-Shifters have the ability to change into any Pokemon (except legendaries) at will. Kitty is antisocial, as well as hating humans in general. She's also not very fond of her name, but she refuses to change it. 

 Kitty is content on living in the wild, as a Pokemon, though she has to turn into a human for various purposes. But, her regular everyday routine goes down the drain, when a life changing encounter with a human, well, changes her life forever. 

 Follow Kitty on her journey, full of twists and turns, each leaving you wanting more.

Elsie and her friends (Cassadie and Cersie) are tracking her to trap her and turn her in so they can clear her name if Elsie can even do that. On the side to also possibly find more people like them and convince them it's ok to come out and come to a town they found, a safe haven, called Town of Eden (with the help of Kylie which is why she is stealing the important documents). Is it even possible to find someone who changes into anyone in the world? Will Elsie's heart be able to put Kylie away? Or will her feelings get in the way and let her go? I had been running for what felt like hours. My legs were burning, and I knew my body was about to give out. The tears that had long since dried still clung to my face. I was covered in bruises and cuts from tearing through the forest. Everything hurt-not just my body, but my heart as well. Just hours ago, I was at a motel with my mom, arguing about dinner, and now she was gone. She killed herself to protect me. That's what I keep telling myself, but deep down, I know it's not true. She was tired of running, tired of hiding. The hunters were close, too close, and to avoid being captured and tortured again, she decided to exit on her own terms. I had to get out of here fast. But I had nowhere to go, nowhere to run or hide-still, I kept going. Thankfully, I had good instincts and the one lesson my mother ever taught me: shapeshifting. I just needed to throw them off my trail. I glanced over my shoulder to see if I could spot any pursuers, but that was a mistake. I tripped and hit my head on a rock, and everything went black.
