She never imagined a life in any other form. For 22 years, Amelia Layton has been stuck in a loveless home with an uncle who ignored her existence. Her only escape was her late Aunt Mae's seamstress shop in their little dusty town of Hawthorne.

But her escape soon becomes a backdrop for forbidden secrets and moments that would hold Amelia's only source of happiness...but for how long?

Marshall Trevors, spending too many years alone after the fall of what little family he had known, decides a move to a different climate might help his ailment. Too many years living a hard life on the ground, too many wounds, too many bullets, and too large of a price on his head. He decides on a little dusty town in Colorado. Hawthorne seems to be a nice enough place to lay low, maybe for however long he has left.

He never took into consideration that he may possibly find more than just a home but also friendship among the townsfolk and ranchers. And for some reason, the little seamstress of the town never seems to be far from his mind.

Lilli Stone

35 bab Lengkap

Western. In the old days of gold strikes, boom towns, and outlaws, Lilli finds herself alone and in desperate need of help. There's a place she belongs, one that's rightfully hers, but it's far beyond her ability to get to it on her own. One man steps forward to help, but can he be trusted? Will traveling across country alone with him ruin her reputation beyond repair, or worse? There's only one way to find out. 'Shaped lean an' tough, the stranger reminded me of a wolf, an' the well-worn gun belt with a smooth polished black ivory handle did not escape my notice neither. It was tied down, an' I felt my heart quicken. Judd had tol' me a'plenty about men who carried guns that'a way, an' I had no likin' for it. That kind was followed by nothin' but misery an' killin'. ' WARNING: There's A LOT of (') in the first few chapters of this book! A LOT. Headin', Startin' etc... There's ALSO horrible grammer. It's supposed to be there! First few chapters, then it gets better. (you'll understand when you read them) ALSO...NO GRAPHIC CONTENT of any kind. The story touches on adult themes that may not be suitable for a younger audience.
